Chris has been serving as full-time Music Pastor at Celebrate Community Church in Sioux Falls, SD since 2006. He has a strong passion for using his musical gifts for God, and allowing and empowering others to do the same.
Chris currently works with a team of about 50 volunteer musicians at Celebrate and you’ll normally find him singing behind either the keyboard or the bass guitar.
Chris loves incorporating a variety of musical styles into the church including rock, pop, country, jazz, and gospel. He has produced several recordings through the church, including a recent hymn project by Tara Faber.
He is also part of the local band “Asah”. Chris moved from Sacramento, CA to Sioux Falls, SD in 1995. He and his wife Karen have been married for 17 years and they have 4 kids, Noah, Luke, Ben and Kiley.
